If you like Italian carbon you can do a lot better than a Colnago for the money. Their tech is 20 years old at modern superbike prices. Look at Pinarello for some truly groundbreaking stuff.

Unfortunately, at the >$4000 price point pretty much everything is going to be made in Taiwan or China.
